Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing! Pursuing counseling can be scary, and taking the steps to get information is a display of your courage and resilience. Thank you for taking a moment to check out Restoration. I pray that if this is where God leads, you will have the endurance to come through our doors and walk towards the full life waiting for you.

I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Restoration. I have a very non-judgmental, empathetic approach to counseling. I believe that people make sense in their context, and that we are all the result of our stories. My heart’s desire is to hear your story, and help you work towards living in line with your values.

I specialize in seeing children and adolescents, especially those who have experienced early childhood trauma. I use non-directive play therapy and Trust Based Relational Intervention in order to help parents learn new approaches to trauma-informed care, and uncover the stories children are carrying so that healing is possible.

I love seeing clients who have histories of addiction, trauma, and family conflict in order to help them find freedom and set up systems and coping strategies to embrace wholeness. I see couples, families, children, adolescents, and individuals of all ages.

I graduated in December 2020 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. Although I function from a Christian worldview, I am happy to see clients who would like spirituality included in their counseling, and those who would not. I believe we are all on our own journeys of healing, and non-judgemental acceptance of people in their own beliefs is key. I am trained in Story-Informed Trauma Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Prepare and Enrich Couples Counseling, Group Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trust Based Relational Intervention.

The moment your name is added to my caseload, I am committed to praying for you, and making developing an appropriate plan of treatment for you a priority.
